The RS Method has its own words for how the work happens. This glossary defines each one in plain language, as Robert Simic uses them, from unbecoming and remembering to the Inner Room and the Who Am I? masterclass. Each entry links to the page where you can go deeper.
The RS Method
Robert Simic's body of work, founded in 2007 and based in Dubai. RS Method isn't another course, coaching program, or modality you learn. It's an unbecoming, of everything you were told you had to be. And a remembering, of who you already are, underneath it all. RSCI, the Robert Simic Coaching Institute, is its legal home.
Unbecoming
The first movement of the RS Method: subtraction. The patterns, the inherited noise, the layered identities and the stories about who you have to be come off. Nothing is added on top. Most personal development teaches you to add more; unbecoming does the opposite. Robert's line: "Unbecome everything you're not. Remember everything you are."
Remembering
The second movement of the RS Method. Once the patterns come off, what's underneath, the version of you that was always there, becomes available again. Not as a concept. As a felt fact you can live from. It's why the work is described as a return home: you aren't becoming someone new.
Pattern
A reaction or loop that keeps repeating even after you understand it. Knowing where a pattern came from rarely stops it, because insight and analysis alone don't change what drives the loop. A pattern is something you learned, which is why it can come off. Robert's line: "You don't have a motivation problem. You have a pattern problem."
The charge
The emotional weight underneath a reaction, the part that makes an old pattern fire again. You can understand a pattern completely and still feel its charge. Noticing and naming a charge in the moment is something you can practise alone. Taking the charge off is the work done in the room.
Survival identity
A role or identity you built to stay safe: people-pleasing, perfectionism, hyper-independence, conflict avoidance, the strong one. It once protected you, then kept running after the danger passed. The RS Method helps you recognise it, tell it apart from who you really are, and loosen its hold on your choices.
You are not broken. You are buried.
The RS Method's core belief, always said in full. Nothing in you needs fixing. The self you were before the world told you who to be is still there, buried under patterns and identities picked up along the way. The work removes what's on top of it. It doesn't repair you.
The freedom is in the removal
The second RS Method refrain, the practical half of "You are not broken. You are buried." It says where change comes from: not from adding insight, techniques or effort, but from removing the charge underneath a pattern, rather than managing the pattern itself. Nothing is added. What was never yours comes off.
The four doorways
How the live work is offered: "Four doorways. One body of work." The Impossible Experience, the 5-Day RS Method Experience, The Great Realignment and By Invitation. They're doorways, not a hierarchy. In the site's words, "You don't begin everywhere at once. You begin where your life is asking you to begin."
The Impossible Experience
Four hours live on Zoom with Robert. He opens with a short, deep teaching, then works live with audience volunteers, two and maybe more. You can volunteer, witness from your own seat, or bring your own piece quietly. A live seat includes the full recording, and the recording of a recent round is also sold alone, AED 297.
The 5-Day RS Method Experience
Five consecutive days in person in Dubai, the flagship of the live work. Robert leads group sessions, works one-on-one with volunteers at the front of the room, and his Master Coaches are there for private one-on-one work. Nobody has to share their story with the group. The Great Realignment
Robert's six-day retreat at a private beachfront villa in Phuket, Thailand: ten suites, a maximum of twenty people including Robert, all-inclusive, villa suite included. It's the deepest, quietest container he offers in person. Not a teaching room, a circle. Entry is by application only, and pricing is discussed on the application call.
By Invitation
Robert's private one-on-one work: two days in a private container. It was made for people whose fame or status makes a shared room difficult, such as members of royal families, heads of state and public figures. It's open to anyone at USD 320,000 for two days, always through Sara first. It can't be booked.
The Inner Room
Robert's ongoing monthly membership. Tagline: "Stay in the room with me." A new full-length masterclass every month, weekly LIVE calls with Robert on Silver and Annual Silver, a private member community, and the whole library. Bronze is USD 147 a month, Silver USD 297 a month, Annual Silver USD 2,167 a year.
The Who Am I? masterclass
A 90-minute guided masterclass by Robert: a written PDF, his full narrated video with slides, and a guided transformative session at the end. The free mentoring session with Sara
A free Zoom with Sara, our veteran RS Method Master Coach, 20 to 40 minutes. She listens first, answers everything, and helps you find your next true step, with us, somewhere else, or nowhere yet. It's open to anyone genuinely interested in this work, whatever you have or haven't done before.
RS Method Master Coach
A senior practitioner trained by Robert. Master Coaches are in the room at the 5-Day RS Method Experience for private one-on-one work with anyone who needs privacy, more time or more attention. One-on-one work with a Master Coach is arranged through Sara.
Aria
The RS Method's AI companion on WhatsApp. She's open about being AI: warm, precise, unhurried, trained on Robert Simic's voice and the RS Method. Aria answers questions, offers one of the three free ways to begin, and hands over to Sara whenever a conversation needs a human. She never leads with a price.
Unbecome
Robert Simic's book, published in July 2026 on Amazon and Kindle. It was an Amazon best seller at launch. Its title is the brand's own word for the first movement of the work: subtraction, not addition. On Robert's profile it sits beside the line the whole body of work rests on: You are not broken. You are buried.
