About this video

In this interview, Mais Mohammed talks with Robert Simic about the emptiness she felt before the training, what she found in the room, and the coaching work she does today, four or five years on.

Mais describes having what she calls everything any girl would want: a business of her own, then a career in media as a presenter and a public figure. Yet she says she was empty on the inside, full of questions about why she felt guilty, sad or confused. Her searches online kept leading her to Robert, and curiosity brought her in. She came for answers, not to become a coach.

She says she got her answers, along with clarity and a breakthrough. She learned to understand herself and how to love herself first. Where she once couldn't sit alone for long, she now calls herself her own best friend. She remembers how quickly the room became a family, with no toxicity and nobody trying to impress anybody, and the community of coaches that stayed in touch afterwards. Today she coaches people from many walks of life and shares her message through her media work. Her advice is that it's an experience money can't buy. Mais mentions clients dealing with suicide and abuse. If you're in crisis, contact your local emergency services.
